KATOLIKU UWAŻAJ

We have a permanent route on weekends especially this Majówka “weekend” which lasts 9 days (Polish math ;). It goes something like this: bakery-play ground-play ground-bakery-Babcia. On our way between the bakery and the play ground (and before Babcia’s) there is the “big church”, one of 3 churches in our small town. It really is a lovely church. It was completely re-done outside a few years ago and now the inside is freshly renovated as well. You’d never know it though unless you went to services because they lock it up immediately after mass. I mean, so fast that someone could locked in…like American ladies trying to take some photographs, but whatever.
So, I wasn’t able to capture any images from inside the church, but I did get a snapshot of this poster just inside the vestibule. It kind of reminds why I don’t go to church.
CATHOLICS BEWARE!

DANGEROUS SYMBOLS
I hope they are not ranked in order of dangerousness – or dangerosity as one of my students says. I mean unicorns before swastikas? Really?

Well, I've seen these circulating on the Internet, but I was pretty sure they were a joke… And what is wrong with butterflies, unicorns and \”drzewko szczęścia\” anyway?

To papageno, what's wrong with \”drzewko szczescia\”? It may bring happiness and if you catholic, you can't be happy!! Sarcasm;)

I was growing up in Krakow very close to Wawel Hill, and all churches were open all the time. On my way back from school, i used to stop in one of these churches and just sit there. There was so much mysticism all around these beautiful, old and special churches. This got so lost now when the churches are closed or protected by all these gates.Maybe I should send this sticker to you so you can place it under the signhttp://tinyurl.com/6ux9dyb

Now I understand why my mom was showing some yoga poses calling them \”Chinese exercises\”. Yoga in disguise??? Maybe one can't teach yoga in Poland???

LOL. Considering history of Catholic Church we miss one important and extremely dangerous sign there.
