No more evenings with Lisbeth.

I heard that \”The Host\” by Stephenie Meyer is exceptionally good and, well, for adults. It's on my \”next\” list anyhow.

Henning Mankell – Wallander series maybe? Or something by Camilla Lackberg? Only if you want to keep reading Scandinavian crime fiction, that is 😉

P.S. Did you like the ending of the trilogy? Which book did you like the most?

I tried to read the third volume as slowly as possible but i couldn't put any of those books down. Now I'm waiting for the movie.

I've made a note of all your suggestions and tucked it into my wallet for the next time I'm at Empik. Thanks for the ideas :)Aneta- It's hard to say which book I liked the best. I guess the last one and I was happy that it ended the way it did (I don't want to spoil it for anyone) with friendship and not romance.aga-b – I think I am in a Scandinavian mood after those 3 books. I think I'll go and make myself a thermos of coffee and eat some herring sandwiches ;)Bee – I also had the best intentions of reading the 3rd book slowly but I couldn't stop myself!!!!

If you are in a Scandinavian mood go for \”Fantastyczne samobójstwo zbiorowe\” (\”A Charming Mass Suicide\”) Arto Paasilinna. The book is great!

Hello donna! I will definitely add that to my list. It sounds intriguing. I decided to cleanse my palate with something completely different (Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin) but I feel myself being pulled back to the Scandinavian atmosphere.

Have you read anything by Marek Krajewski? His novels are really great and so well written. I couldn't stop reading. Enjoy!

So I've just finished another book by Emily Giffin (Something Blue) which I liked but the number of typos was distracting. I'm a teacher. I can't turn it off :)I have been considering Marek Krajewski for awhile now. I don't know if I would be able to tackle those books in Polish. It'd be a real challege.I am pleased to announce that I currently have in my possession The Preacher by Camilla Lackberg so you probably won't be hearing from me for awhile 😉

I just thought of something else – Martha Grimes' Richard Jury series – if you like mystery novels 🙂

kobieta pracujace – I will check them out when I return to detective and mystery stories.I think now I need to take a break from these stories. First of all, I see conspiracies all around. Secondly, I figured out the mystery in The Preacher before page 100. Thirdly, I see typos everywhere. Luckily MI is on TV Saturday and I have a Thanksgiving dinner to prepare 🙂
